General Description:

Works directly with the Director of Marketing to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support the growth and expansion of Parkson’s products and services.

Essential Functions:

  • Meet with appropriate Product Managers to discuss marketing needs and serve as the liaison between Parkson and its multitude of external marketing partners, vendors and agencies when developing and editing materials.
  • Promptly assign all incoming technology and marketing email account leads to the correct sales and internal contacts.
  • Manage all aspects of trade shows in a cost-effective manner, continuously obtaining feedback from Regional Sales Managers on show effectiveness and recommended changes. This includes coordinating with reps and Regional Sales Managers and shipping show supplies.
  • Coordinate development of marketing materials to include press releases, case studies, brochures, advertisements, videos, newsletters, e-mail campaigns, banners, product highlights, and social media promotion (analysis of analytics where applicable).
  • Assist with the development and execution of full-length product videos, general Parkson videos, and educational videos from beginning to end.
  • Manage company social media accounts for Parkson and MRI – provide engaging and relevant content for existing customer base, potential customers, rep network, and internal employees.
  • Work with designers to create new ad campaigns/concepts across all Parkson brands.
  • Manage ordering and event set up for National Sales Meetings, WEFTEC, ACE. Work with the marketing director and sales to complete tasks according to timeline.
  • Work with the management team (product manager and leadership) on new product development initiatives including the development of new product branding and communications, product naming, logo creation, brochure creation, web page additions, and more.
  • Track marketing-related invoices and report on the monthly budget.
  • Create reports and presentations of marketing-related activities. This includes monthly budget reports, monthly business review reports, monthly rep updates, quarterly marketing reports, quarterly project highlights, and bi-annual WaveLink newsletters.

Education:High School diploma, communications, graphic design, or business administration.

Experience:Experience in equipment marketing, or similar engineered product field preferred.

  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational, time-management and project management skills.
  • Ability to lead initiatives and tasks across multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent proofreading, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive nature to learn, seek answers and complete tasks.
  • Ability to be a strong contributor on cross-functional teams.

Travel:

  • Occasional travel required.
