WebstaurantStore, the world’s largest restaurant supply company, is hiring a full-time remote Junior SEO Product Analyst to join our experienced search marketing team in this dynamic, fast-growing company. The SEO Product team works cross-departmentally to improve performance, with special attention to website testing, tracking, private-label brands, and machine learning.

The Junior SEO Product Analyst’s responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Analyze various websites in the Clark ecosystem using tools such as Google Analytics and Google Search Console to provide insights on visibility and conversions.
  • Work with stakeholders and internal experts on projects such as on-site optimization efforts, creating sitemaps, and supporting website redesign initiatives for Clark’s private label websites.
  • Diagnose and report on any crawling, rendering, or indexing issues found via Screaming Frog.
  • Gathering data for A/B test related initiatives – pulling test data or gathering supporting data prior to testing.
  • Learn new strategic, tactical and analytical skills in a highly collaborative setting, working side-by-side with designers, developers, and specialists who possess a wide range of skills.

The candidate must possess the following qualities:

  • A strong work ethic. The Junior SEO Product Analyst is expected to complete daily and weekly tasks independently, while also setting their own goals and seeking growth opportunities.
  • Critical thinking. The marketing landscape and buying habits change rapidly. As a result, we need a curious individual who loves to dive in, experiment, and develop innovative solutions to new challenges.
  • Decision making skills. The ideal candidate is able to take their data and analysis and make critical decisions with the information in a timely manner.
  • Ability to follow direction. This role requires working with colleagues and senior team members. The candidate should be able to take direction, complete assigned tasks in an efficient manner, and work closely with their supervisor.
  • Strong communication skills. This role requires the ability to share data and speak to non-experts about what we do. The ideal candidate is well-spoken and able to talk confidently about their work.
  • Desire to learn. Success in SEO relies on not only on analysis, but also the ability to test hypotheses, draw connections, visualize data, and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.

Additional skill requirements:

  • 1-2 years of SEO and/or marketing analytics experience
  • Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4)
  • Basic familiarity with Google Search Console, SEMRush, and similar SEO tools
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Proficiency with business productivity tools like Microsoft Office and Teams

Extras:

  • Knowledge of Google Tag Manager (GTM) to assist with tracking configuration
  • Basic experience creating and using Looker Studio reports
  • Interest in A/B testing and conversion optimization
  • Understanding of ecommerce marketing business models and metrics is a plus

Remote Work Qualifications

  • Access to a reliable and secure high-speed internet connection. Cable or fiber internet connections (at least 75mbps download/10mbps upload) are preferred, as satellite connections often cannot support the technologies used to perform day-to-day tasks.

  • A dedicated home office space that is noise- and distraction-free. The space should have strong wireless connection or a wired Ethernet connection (wired connection is preferred, if possible).
