Brand & Organic Social Marketing Senior Associate – Perigold

Job Description

Perigold is seeking a Brand & Organic Social Marketing Associate to join the Brand & Content Marketing team. In this role, 80% of your role will be to support strategy and execution of our organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest), where our primary objective is to drive engagement and reach. You will leverage our Brand and Editorial calendars to fuel our social calendars with fresh and engaging content for our social audiences, ultimately driving long-term brand value. This is a fast-moving space, where you’ll be able to test and learn as new platform functions and features are introduced. ~20% of your time will also be spent supporting Brand Marketing initiatives, including brand campaign development, analysis, creative briefs, and customer research.

This role is based in Boston and reports to Perigold’s Head of Brand Marketing & Curated Merchandising, with significant cross-functional exposure across our Marketing, Content, and Creative organizations.

What You’ll Do:

  • Manage social strategy for Wayfair US and Canada organic social channels (Facebook, Instagram, Instagram Stories, Twitter, Pinterest)
  • Brings to life Perigold’s Brand & Editorial calendars across all organic social platforms, owning implementation (sourcing content, creative briefs, scheduling, posting, reporting)
  • Create creative briefs and manage partnership with several creative teams/stakeholders (PR, partnerships, SEO, email, paid social, etc.) to drive strategic alignment and execution
  • Ideates social-first content ideas, through the lens of our Brand and Content strategy
  • Analyzes and reports on content & platform performance to draw insights, identify trends and quickly action on areas for improvement. Supports development of reporting for organic social, in partnership with LLC social media managers
  • Builds a deep understanding of platform & reporting tools, and troubleshoots bugs/issues as they arise
  • Partner with social customer team to monitor and improve end-to-end customer experience on the channel
  • Build full understanding of the Perigold customer
  • Support Brand Marketing initiatives as needed, including customer research and user testing, campaign development & analysis, as well as creative briefs.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with a strong academic record
  • 2+ years’ experience in digital marketing, social media (organic preferred), brand or content marketing, or creative direction with a focus in data analytics
  • Exceptional project management and time management skills. Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities and time-sensitive milestones
  • A total ownership mindset – ability to thrive in a highly ambiguous and fast-paced environment with a dynamic bias for action and a “get stuff done” attitude
  • Experience in providing creative direction and working with creative teams to develop assets
  • Interest, familiarity with or experience in the interior design industry, with a strong taste level and ability to identify strong creative through both a subjective and analytical (data-driven) lens
  • Experience in analyzing data sets to derive useable insights
  • Passionate about the customer with an interest in delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Collaborative team player who wants to see themselves and others thrive
  • Familiarity with Sprinklr, Excel, Dash Hudson preferred, but not required
