Account Manager – Digital Marketing

Job Description

BrandStar Digital is in search of an Account Manager to support our growing list of clients and act as the key point person for the client relationship. The Account Manager is responsible for leading the successful launch and management of assigned digital marketing projects and campaigns of various types and complexity for BrandStar Digital clients as well as internal website design, web development, digital advertising & marketing projects. This position involves managing scope, timelines, budget, client relationships and overall project success. The Account Manager must be able to create schedules, manage team resources in a multidivisional environment, create documentation, and follow standards and best practices.

Specific responsibilities of the Digital Account Manager include:

  • Manage and maintain client account including website and digital marketing projects which vary in size and scope.
  • Act as the main contact person for assigned clients. Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, team members, and project stakeholders.
  • Executes on strategic plans for assigned accounts and projects as developed by senior management.
  • Effectively manage projects and support the team assigned to the client account.
  • Create, monitor, and manage various marketing projects with varying levels of complexity, cost, time constraints, and staffing needs (internal and external staffing).
  • Coordinate and actively participate in all stages of project development including set up, research, strategy, design, campaign development, and reporting.
  • Ensure projects are delivered accurately, on-time, within budget.
  • Respond to changing demands and deadlines of accounts’ needs by providing appropriate solutions.
  • Provide accurate scope and cost estimates to clients in instances of project deviations from original scope or budget.

Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing or related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years related digital marketing experience. Prior agency experience required.
  • Passion for making your customers and team successful.
  • Experience creating and/or contributing to marketing strategies and best practices.
  • Understanding and proficiency in project management software tools for use in internal and client-facing schedules and overall project communication.
  • Competency with Google Analytics and various website CMS including but not limited to WordPress
  • Competency with social media calendar and publishing tools, various reporting tools, platform insights and analytics.
  • Previous experience working in a client-facing role successfully translating client objectives into project goals and assignments for design and development teams.
  • Previous experience managing schedules, budgets, assets, and overall project organization to ensure requirements and project deliverable dates were clearly communicated, understood, and executed upon.
