Works on the planning and implementation of projects that support the marketing function. Interacts directly with product managers to identify new marketing opportunities, prepares regular marketing activity reports and responds to questions from the sales organization. Works individually or with a team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, estimating cost and managing projects to completion. May identify, evaluate and recommend marketing opportunities consistent with product line objectives; provides pre- and post-sale marketing support to distributors, OEMs and resellers; and supports public relations through researching, writing and editing press releases. Responsibilities may also include: coordinating trade show activities, website development, developing future e-commerce strategies, and tracking of marketing campaigns to evaluate results and provide recommendations for future marketing promotions.

Working at NTT

The primary responsibility of the Marketing Specialist is to assist with the coordination and management of all aspects of marketing. This position contributes to the development o marketing campaigns, targeted programs, internal and external communications, partner marketing, sales content and/or pipeline development activities.

Key role and responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and contribute to the development and execution of marketing campaigns
  • Work closely with the Marketing team to assist with the development and execution of marketing activities in line with business objectives and revenue targets
  • Assist with the development and maintenance of the marketing activity calendar and supporting information
  • Ensure that marketing activities align, overlaps are minimized and that these activities are communicated as outlined by the marketing calendar
  • Support the marketing activity owners to perform the readiness planning that ensures that all stakeholders understand the campaign mechanisms, timing, requirements and metrics
  • Create targeted demand generation programmes that are unique, relevant and executable by the assigned business units within NTT
  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders, to assist with the tracking and measurement of the success of these demand generation programmes
  • Participate in the execution of programmes such as one-on-one campaigns, specific collateral, and other sales aids that generate new opportunities and/or close sales deals.
  • Coordinate internal and external communications forums that include
  • Coordinate, monitor and manage information load being distributed to marketing and communications teams.
  • Work with internal teams and external suppliers to ensure the delivery of efficient service
  • Coordinate and deliver content, tools and materials for internal and external communications.
  • Engage in and assist with the facilitation of sales enablement activities that create alignment between sales, marketing and key partners
  • Collaborate with the Sales Enablement teams to ensure that sales enablement components feature prominently in all relevant communications
  • Assist with ensuring that all marketing activities related to sales enablement are obtained via the existing and recommended or relevant channels
  • Support the creation and co-ordination of programmes that contribute to partners committing investment for incremental marketing activities or resources in the appropriate areas
  • Assist the implementation of relationship activities such as increasing executive contact and marketing NTT back to partners
  • Support the development of marketing collateral that enable sales and generate interest, including contributing to bid and proposal content
  • Coordinate the development of case studies on key projects, and clients that help drive credibility and interest in NTT services

  • Knowledge and understanding of best practices for marketing
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to be influential and persuasive with stakeholders
  • Ability to interact with a variety of internal team members at different levels n the organisation
  • Display the required level of integrity
  • Solid presentation skills
  • Demonstrate sound understanding of the features and benefit of the company’s products and services
  • Understanding how databases are utilised in effective marketing
  • Display a high level of detail consciousness by closely monitoring work progress in order to produce the required results
  • Ability to articulate NTT value proposition
  • Solid understanding of GTM areas
  • Solid written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to work with and manage many projects within the required deadlines

Academic qualifications and certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Marketing Management

Experience required:

  • Professional experience with a strong background in all aspects of marketing
  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Specialist
  • Hands on experience with marketing service delivery software
  • Hands-on experience with a wide variety of computer software, hardware, and peripherals, including Microsoft365
