Starbucks is looking for a senior marketing manager to help drive consumer brand marketing, brand strategy, and execution. The Starbucks brand is expressed holistically and imbued across every touchpoint of the customer journey so your work will range from helping inform multi-channel US brand marketing campaigns to implementing brand strategies that deeply connect with our customers and breakthrough in culture.

You are a creative, purpose-driven marketer who has helped lead brand strategy and marketing for some of the world’s leading consumer brands. You’re a champion of creative excellence, a master storyteller, and a teammate with a growth mindset. You’re comfortable with ambiguity and you’re everyone’s favorite collaborator, listening and learning from a diverse team of partners (employees) who span multiple disciplines across the enterprise.

As a senior marketing manager, Brand Marketing, you will…

  • In this highly visible role, you will help define the company’s annual brand marketing goals, priorities, and integrated marketing campaigns that drive our business, build our brand, and champion our social impact and sustainability efforts across the US and our national footprint of 15,000 stores.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across retail marketing and operations, creative studio, public relations, social media, US marketing and international to operationalize brand strategy and accelerate the growth of this iconic brand.
  • Champion the brand’s purpose and help build brand understanding and stewardship across the company, driving integration of our brand principles into all parts of the customer experience.
  • Collaborate on creative brief development and help uncover customer and cultural truths to empower some of the most passionate, inspiring in-house creatives and agency partners.
  • Understand brand measurement, lead brand management capabilities, and work closely with our data, customer insights and media teams to quantify brand marketing’s impact on the business.
  • Identify, evaluate, and action new opportunities to increase brand affinity.

We’d Love To Hear From People With

  • You have 5-8 years in consumer brand marketing, brand strategy, and/or brand management experience.
  • You have a passion for building global brands via best-in-class strategy, creative, and execution.
  • A growth mindset with an optimistic outlook and the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional team members and lead through influence. Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Curiosity, creativity, and an innate ability to distill complexity into crisp, easily comprehensible strategy and agency briefs.
  • Ability to prioritize in a complex, fast-paced environment.
  • Experienced creative strategist with a strong brand background.
  • Adaptability and agility to provide thoughtful input when projects change, timelines shift, or scopes evolve.
  • You are a dedicated and enthusiastic communicator and collaborator.
  • You actively invite feedback and give thoughtful, specific, and timely feedback.
