Michigan Chloride Sales is the premier Michigan supplier of Calcium Chloride Mineral Well Brine, and we are looking for a talented Sales and Marketing Specialist to join our team and be fully enveloped in our operation in our St Louis, MI office. If you are someone with a demonstrated record of researching leads and closing deals with a proven sales and marketing background we’d love to hear from you.

The successful Sales & Marketing Specialist:

  • Has high executive-functioning skills and can see and execute details
  • Can hunt qualified leads, solicit them and convert them in to new winter in-state customers
  • Can independently curate new business and then immediately hand off the win to our operations team for relationship management
  • Will develop quickly the ability to explain MCS and our products and how to use them
  • Will maintain our out of state sales position and develop large out of state winter customers that fit our model
  • Will analyze market trends and customer needs to identify new sales opportunities
  • Will create initial price quotes to potential customers, and assist with municipal price letters and bids
  • Will manage an electronic customer database
  • Will scrutinize all monthly pertinent publications and industry specific news and keep the op’s team informed
  • Can independently create all marketing materials, ads and promotions, and manage our website content
  • Does competitor and marketplace analysis along with emerging market entry of new products and alternate industry product analysis
  • Will monitor and stay apprised of industry trends and highlight them to the op’s team
  • Will scrutinize the weekly sales reports and monthly sales variance reports and provide weekly sales analysis insight to op’s team
  • Possesses the established ability to be open and vulnerable in communication – we firmly believe in our team-family culture. Maintaining open, honest, positive communication is a non-negotiable must.
  • Will work collaboratively on our team and maintain a constant flow of information within the team – no information silo’s
  • Will strategize to meet goals – spit ball ideas with a team without having confirmation bias of your own solution
  • Will have a bachelor’s degree in Sales or Marketing, or, 3+ years in a sales, business development or marketing role.
