Enhance the awareness, visibility, understanding, and perception of Saint Vincent College and its mission, vision, goals, activities, and accomplishments as it relates to undergraduate and graduate student recruitment.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or related field, or equivalent marketing experience in a nonprofit or higher education environment.

Experience: Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in a marketing, communications, admissions, or similar professional environment. Experience in a higher education environment preferred.

Essential Duties:

  • Active and ongoing collaboration with the Offices of Admission, Graduate and Continuing Education, Financial Aid, and other core campus partners who actively work to recruit future students for Saint Vincent College.
  • Serve as a marketing expert and liaison for these offices and departments to provide strategic advice and guidance as needed and appropriate in alignment with the College’s mission and strategic plan.
  • Write, coordinate, implement, monitor, and assess creative and visual marketing and communications strategies related directly to student recruitment, including but not limited to printed publications, advertising campaigns, Slate and external email campaigns, and more.
  • Project-manage all projects related to student recruitment initiatives within the Office of Marketing and Communications to ensure timely and goal-focused completion.
  • Maintain an overview of all current and planned marketing and communications efforts for future students to build more strategic, cohesive, and brand-appropriate multi-channel campaigns and efforts over time.
  • Advocate for consistent branding, design, and messaging across all marketing channels related to student recruitment including print, email, web, social media, etc.
  • Assist with contacting news media and external partners to present story ideas and photo opportunities to editors, writers, and photographers.
  • Assist other Marketing & Communications staff with copywriting, editing, graphic design, visual content production, website updates, and other core tasks aligned with the individual’s skillset.

Other Duties:

  • Assist the Vice President for Marketing in maintaining a comprehensive and efficient project flow across all initiatives.
  • Assist the Vice President for Marketing with maintaining accurate records of publications and advertising related to student recruitment for all departments in the College.
  • Participate in a variety of College activities and events sponsored by the Offices of Admission, Graduate and Continuing Education, Financial Aid, the Office of the President, and others as requested and appropriate.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Special Challenges and Environment:

Performs in a high-stress and fast-paced office environment that requires quick responses to story ideas and external requests, managing many deadline-oriented projects concurrently, and maintaining high quality standards for any produced physical and digital materials. Work will be highly visible by core College stakeholders and requires frequent public contact.

10% local/regional travel is required.
