Underdog.io is a modern recruiting platform. One of our hiring partners is looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager. In this role, you’ll work on crafting compelling narratives, positioning strategies, and go-to-market plans for the company’s suite of products. The ideal candidate will be creative, show leadership capabilities, and be passionate about bridging the gap between the product and the market as the company consistently seeks to expand its audience reach.
The company is looking to hire someone with (1) a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience, (2) substantial experience in product marketing or a related field, and (3) a strong understanding of market research, segmentation, and competitive analysis. The ideal candidate should also have hands-on experience with crafting messaging strategies, orchestrating product launches, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and/or utilizing digital marketing tools and platforms.
On a typical day, you will (1) develop and refine product positioning and messaging, (2) participate in or guide brainstorming sessions to ideate innovative marketing campaigns, (3) critically review content and promotional materials to ensure alignment with brand voice and objectives, (4) update and enhance existing marketing collateral, considering product evolutions or market feedback, and (5) liaise with sales, product, and design teams to optimize the product’s market presence.
The company leverages cutting-edge marketing tools and platforms, including HubSpot, Google Analytics, Marketo, and various social media channels, to name a few.
