Product Marketing Manger (Software/Tech)
40 hours a week, remote but must work CST hours.
As a Contract Product Marketing Manager, you’ll ensure employers of all sizes understand how our client can help them with their hiring practices. We are looking for a Product Marketing Manager who can leverage market insights to deliver impactful positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategy for Employer Branding and ATS Integrations. Our client empowers customers to advertise their jobs, helping businesses attract candidates and hire faster. This is our client’s flagship product, and you will make an impact on their efforts as they continuously advance their platform capabilities and integrations.

Responsibilities:
Research:
- Represent the voice of the customer (Employer)
- Co-create research briefs to gain insights through in-depth market and customer research
- Understand user segmentation, personas, and customer journey
- Showcase company’s differentiation through competitive analysis
- Manage stakeholder groups throughout the process
Positioning and Messaging:
- Clearly articulate a product’s value in a way that resonates with the market
- Create compelling product positioning and messaging and narratives grounded in customer insights and needs, validated through research
- Own product storytelling across external channels such as web, email, video, PR, etc.
- Gain alignment on new and updated messaging with internal stakeholders (Product, Sales, Brand, UX, Strategy, others)
- Develop and maintain clear messaging frameworks inclusive of claims and customer evidence to guide other go-to-market (GTM) partners
Go To Market:
- Drive product and feature adoption and engagement, and advocate for improvements and new offerings
- Manage end-to-end GTM strategy, planning, and product launches
- Project manage and collaborate with cross-functional partners for support and resourcing on key deliverables; report progress across various documents and tools
- Build product communications for all internal teams
- Provide feedback loop on the product roadmap
- Understand and support sales channels through training content and in-field assets like one-pagers, talk tracks, product demos, data claims, case studies, etc.
Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Customer Success teams
- Champion the voice of the customer
- Position company as a thought leader
- Be an ambassador of your product internally
- Build trusted relationships across all stakeholder and partner groups
- Influence product roadmaps through customer insights and building business cases
Requirements of Role:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Marketing or similar.
- Minimum 7 years of Product Marketing for tech, SaaS industry (B2B)
- Ability to establish messaging frameworks for inhouse and external creative support
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent research and competitive analysis skills
- Excellent project management skills (use jira and asana)
