Reporting to the Head of Product Marketing, the Product Marketing Manager will align our Order product strategy with sales and marketing tactics to drive success. You will promote awareness and adoption of our Order products to prospects, customers, analysts, and internal teams. This role focuses on helping restaurant brands generate and optimize online ordering to drive direct digital sales. You will also operationalize these partnerships by working closely with the partnerships team to align on objectives, timelines, and deliverables, as well as executing co-marketing initiatives, joint messaging, and co-branded campaigns.
You can work remotely from anywhere in the U.S. or at Olo’s headquarters in NYC.
What You’ll Do
- Develop cohesive positioning, messaging, competitive differentiation, pricing and, packaging strategy for Olo’s Order product suite and associated partnership channels
- Lead go-to-market strategies and campaigns that promote awareness and adoption of Order products and features that align to Olo’s overall vision in delivering a world where every restaurant guest feels like a regular
- Oversee how the Order products are advertised, discussed in press releases, represented in white papers, and seen by the public
- Partner with Order Product team to develop product briefs that go through the product development cycle detailing scope, goals and overall direction of product
- Be the Order product roadmap subject matter expert with a deep understanding of the total addressable market, competitors, and market needs with an emphasis on understanding the buyers and users of our products
- Collaborate with Order Product Management, Design, Engineering, Sales, Sales Engineering, Marketing, Partnership and Customer Success to push product innovation to match market and customer needs
- Partner with sales enablement and partnership teams to train go-to-market teams t (i.e. training and educating these teams on the go-to-market plan, value propositions, positioning, messaging, and differentiation)
- Work with Marketing team members on product campaigns, customer segmentation, and overall campaigns calendar
- Orchestrate execution of all Order product communications including collateral, web content, email announcements and campaigns and content
- Partner with Olo’s customers to develop compelling case studies that showcase the product value proposition in action
- Work with Order Product Management to track performance and adoption rates of Olo’s products to provide ongoing improvement plans
What We’ll Expect From You
- 4+ years of SaaS product marketing experience or a growth-stage software technology company, payment and restaurant digital experience a plus
- Experience in product release readiness, including developing and launching SaaS marketing materials that promote broad-reaching awareness of products and features, is essential.
- Strong project management acumen and the ability to be a self-starter, set priorities, and collaborate with different elements of a business organization
- Ability to think strategically about issues, leading to thoughtful recommendations and action plans
- Excellent written and verbal communication with demonstrated capability of authoring industry and product-related blogs, white papers, and presentations
- A highly motivated, proactive individual that can work in fast-paced environments with the ability to prioritize and pivot quickly
