About the job
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven marketer to drive our product positioning and revenue growth. As the first marketing hire at an early stage startup, this role is primarily focused on traditional product marketing responsibilities while also including elements of product management, field marketing, and demand gen. The ideal candidate is an experienced marketer that spikes on customer insights, positioning, and sales enablement with broader capabilities in several other areas of marketing. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing effective marketing strategies to drive product adoption, growth, and engagement. This role will report to the CEO.
Responsibilities
Product positioning – Maintain industry and competitive intelligence. Develop and implement product positioning and messaging.
Customer insights and research – Perform customer discovery and user research. Manage customer advisory board.
Sales enablement – Equip sales with tools and information to effectively communicate CNaught benefits and features, including sales presentations and product demos.
Demand generation – Develop and manage marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including events, digital, email, and outbound marketing.
Content creation – Create compelling marketing content, including sales collateral, product videos, case studies, and social content.
Performance analysis – Track and analyze the performance of marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Conversion optimization – Own marketing website goals, including user signups, lead collection, and visitor engagement.
Qualifications

3-5 years of experience in software product management or product marketing
Proven track record and ability to create compelling marketing content
Experience in deriving customer insights from qualitative and quantitative data
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and comfort communicating externally
Nice-to-have
Experience with marketing automation tools and CRM systems, such as Hubspot
Interest in carbon credits and sustainability solutions
