Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY:

Supports the Regional Marketing Manager to execute and activate marketing initiatives and manage accounting for assigned marketing groups.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist in managing sponsorships and fulfilling deliverables. Assists in creation and curation of shareable content appropriate for specific channels and audiences to amplify Les Schwab involvement. Support in sponsorship evaluation.
  • Development of new store plans and implementing grand opening events for specific markets, including researching community involvement, vendors and other grand opening activities. Coordinates creation of any outbound marketing materials to support events.
  • Manage support plan for store modernizations and targeted stores.
  • Manage daily accounting duties. (Process invoices and check requests, monthly rebills, updates monthly Marketing Group’s sales in budgets, balance Marketing Group and Regional budgets monthly.)
  • Assist in pulling and analyzing marketing data (campaign & promotional results, conversions rates, traffic, KPIs, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.
  • Develop strong working knowledge of assigned Marketing Groups and be able to support Regional Marketing Manager (Calls, store requests, graphics requests, ad hoc questions, promotion fulfillment, billboard coordination)
  • Additional projects as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Educational/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business preferred, plus a minimum of 2 years prior marketing experience, preferably in a retail environment.

Required Technical Skills/Knowledge:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficient in standard Microsoft and/or Google office applications, including spreadsheet, documents and presentation software

General Knowledge and Abilities:

  • Self starter; ability to work without direct supervision.
  • 10% travel in Les Schwab geographies may be required
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to set and meet multiple deadlines
  • Strong customer orientation

Physical Requirements: Frequent use of keyboard and telephone, ability to operate standard office equipment. Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.
