About this Opportunity:

The Marketing Optimization Specialist is responsible for supporting the analytics, development, and implementation of marketing strategies to accelerate channel performance. Working within the performance marketing team, this role will independently work on moderately complex projects/assignments, such as analysis of our marketing performance to make informed recommendations. You will be supporting the growth and optimization of the MillerKnoll retail business including Design Within Reach, Herman Miller and Knoll. You will be expected to operate with an innovative mindset and develop strong relationships across the MillerKnoll organization. Lastly, you will be expected to closely communicate with the global marketing team to align on channel planning, campaign support, and promotional activity to support the growth of the business.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Performs comprehensive analysis of marketing investment performance across platforms, traffic, conversion funnel, segments, and overall ROI to offer informed recommendations.
  • Through learnings, identifies new areas for testing and growth.
  • Works closely with media mix modeling tool and supports development of experimentation plans to drive optimization. Participates in development and roll out of optimization within the organization.
  • Increases the aperture of focus to include the full customer lifecycle to identify opportunities to drive revenue, margin and improve customer retention, acquisition and engagement.
  • Supports the development and execution of test-and-learn strategies across marketing functions and assist in communicating results and recommendations.
  • Collects and analyzes information for team leads to provide quantitative feedback for content and creative teams to optimize creative assets and marketing content.
  • Assists in coordination of data preparation and delivery of comprehensive analytics reporting including quarterly and annual metrics reporting for earnings and board meetings.
  • Supports promotional planning within the marketing organization. Aids in the analysis of promotional strategy in collaboration with cross functional teams to optimize performance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors or master’s degree in statistics, mathematics, marketing or similar degree
  • Minimum 3 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in advanced analytic and statistical techniques related multivariate and A/B testing, digital revenue attribution, customer segmentation, and marketing effectiveness
  • Experience creating and troubleshooting marketing dashboards, identifying funnel issues, and diagnosing issues efficiently
  • Experience developing and analyzing media mix models
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including an ability to communicate across business areas
  • Proven skills in project management, able to manage several projects with tight timelines and ability to navigate a complex multi-brand and stakeholder organization
  • Advanced Excel skills required and SQL skills preferred. Experience in Looker, Domo, Tableau, Mode, or other analytics platforms preferred but not required. Some marketing experience, especially in Google ads and Feedonomics preferred but not required

A starting compensation range for this role is $68,550.00 – $85,725.00. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
