Job Description
Status: Full Time – 80 hours
Hours: M-F 8a-4:30p
In an environment of continuous quality improvement, the Marketing Operations Specialist is responsible for the daily operation of the department, supervise the process of the project to ensure projects are developed and implemented on budget, on time and with the highest quality. Works directly with Marketing Director to provide updates on status of all active projects. Research and implementation of additional software/programs to help the marketing teams process. Software/programs could be those such as data asset management platform, custom templates, and more. Develops working relationships with vendors and clients and provides clear communication daily. Exhibits the MHS Standards of Excellence and exercises strict confidentiality at all times.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required.
- Minimum five years marketing experience preferred.
- An executed non-compete is required for this position.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; interpersonal and team work skills; strong editing and production skills required.
- Knowledge and familiarity with PageMaker and Photoshop is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and problem solve.
- Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Job Functions:
1. Works with marketing team and clients to develop campaigns and content that drive results, align to strategy, and create compelling messages, as well as supports our brand.
2. Responsible for management of project flow and materials, keeping projects on time and on budget.
3. Assists in the development of reports and analytics to provide insight into workflow and project management.
4. Coordination of platforms designed to support departmental work in data asset management, custom templates, and more.
5. Assists in the development of media placement, including identifying opportunities, and media buying to promote Memorial Health System’s brand.
6. Manage business relations with vendors, including production and print houses and assist in development and coordination of community activities.
7. Assumes all other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Compensation Details: Education, experience, and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended.
