Pickle is a rental marketplace that aims to monetize the billions of underutilized assets sitting in consumers closets and brands inventory. Users can easily tap into shared closets within their community through flexible and/or on-demand delivery options. Our goal is to provide affordable and convenient access to quality items exactly when our users need them. We are starting with P2P clothing/accessories and expanding to other categories.

We are seeking an experienced Marketing Lead to join our growing team. This role is responsible for managing and scaling our creator program, overseeing our organic and paid content, and increasing brand awareness. We are looking for someone who is excited to drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through a mix of creator marketing, paid advertising, social media, influencer programs, and word-of-mouth initiatives.

Requirements

Required

6+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on creator programs, paid ads, social media (TikTok and IG), and word-of-mouth marketing

Highly cross-functional team player who is eager to not only lead the strategy, but also participate in execution

Proven track record of successfully managing and scaling marketing campaigns to drive user acquisition (especially organic)

Experience working with lean startup budgets, driving user acquisition from largely organic efforts, supplemented by a small paid portfolio

Experience building and scaling impactful creator (influencer) programs as a channel to build brand awareness and drive user acquisition

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Creative thinker with a passion for fashion and sustainability

Nice to have

Experience in a startup or fast-paced environment

Experience driving user acquisition for peer-to-peer marketplaces or app-centric e-commerce businesses

Responsibilities

Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to drive brand awareness, user acquisition, and engagement

Lead social media strategy and execution, creating compelling content and fostering community engagement across platforms (TikTok and IG)

Lead the execution of our creator (influencer) program – build and foster relationships, create strong affinity with our brand and drive word of mouth

Oversee and manage all paid advertising campaigns, ensuring effective allocation of budget and resources (note: we do not need you to be a paid ad expert!)

Drive word-of-mouth marketing initiatives, leveraging user-generated content and community engagement

Analyze and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, using data-driven insights to optimize efforts and drive continuous improvement

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing strategies with business goals and product launches

Be our internal expert on industry trends and competitive landscape to inform marketing strategies
