What You Would Get To Do
FIRST is seeking a Marketing Coordinator to support our Marketing team. As a member of the Marketing team, the Marketing Coordinator will promote FIRST’s credentials, work, values, and culture to clients and prospects in support of brand and business goals.
As the tasks vary based on projects, deliverables and deadlines, so will the responsibilities of this position. The perfect addition to our team will have solid creative writing skills and should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, often under tight deadlines. Creative collaboration, outside-of-the-box thinking, attention to detail, project management skills, enthusiasm, and self-starting by nature are key assets for this role.
Your Contributions
- Support on the day-to-day coordination of the global marketing plan and budget; coordinate and track marketing campaigns mapped on the plan and agreed to by key stakeholders.
- Develop project plans and timelines
- Track all budget items
- Coordinate the development of award submissions, case studies, thought leadership white papers, blogs, social posts, and other written materials.
- Develop project plans and communicate with timelines and deadlines with key stakeholders
- Research and capture insights for thought leadership pieces, competitor reports, and industry outlooks.
- Develop relationships with key industry leaders to identify speaking opportunities
- Monitor industry award opportunities; write first drafts of award submissions and case studies and submit and store final drafts.
- Write social copy and blogs for FIRST website
- Support internal and external marketing events, including supplier and client events and roundtables, industry events, and speaking opportunities.
- Support on internal and external event planning by creating project plans, coordinate invitation lists and outreach, support on copy development, and more.
- Support on digital initiatives, such as maintenance of the FIRST website, social media channels, SEO, and paid ads.
- Write content for the FIRST website and social media channels.
- Develop and manage video reels and image library, including storage, organization, and upkeep. Support team members on search engine optimization and paid ad strategies.

- 1-3 years of relevant marketing experience
- Bachelors degree required
- Working knowledge of Google docs, sheets, and slides
- Graphics and design software (Canva/Photoshop) experience a plus but not required
- Salesforce, Hubspot, Canva, WordPress, and/or other marketing software management experience is a plus, but not required
- Basic knowledge of social media tools (LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube)
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Excellent project management skills, including multi-tasking, prioritization of tasks (i.e. time management), attention to detail, and ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate excellent research and organizational skills
- A self-starter able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
United States Residents: The base pay for this position ranges from $50,000-$70,000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
