Job Description

As a Marketing Automation Specialist (reporting to the Marketing Automation Manager) this person will be responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of all facets of the marketing tech stack. They will effectively manage the scale and optimization of our marketing automation tools to support business development, business lead engagement and sales initiatives. The ideal candidate MUST reside in either Chicago or Boston.

Accountabilities

This Marketing Automation Specialist’s role is a highly technical and analytical one. They will contribute to the success of Press Ganey, Forsta, etc. and the products and services we support by addressing the needs and requests not only by the Demand Gen/Digital and Marketing teams, but the Sales organizations as well. This role will be responsible for the following:

Become well versed across all marketing technology platforms and understand how they run, interact and sync across Salesforce and non-marketing platforms
Own the integration, maintenance, troubleshooting and data integrity across the MarTech stack
Successfully troubleshoot and identify solutions when presented with problems
Manage MarTech requests
Set-up workflows and provide other marketing automation support
Work with Marketing Automation Manager and Web teams to maintain a strategic roadmap to prioritize and achieve annual marketing goals

Expectations

The Marketing Automation Specialist is expected to be the go-to person to execute projects and work collaboratively across to address the needs and requests of key stakeholders within the demand gen/digital team. Such responsibilities include troubleshooting platform issues, issue and retire platforms, manage CRM requests, optimize funnel flow, assist in the maintenance of marketing reports and dashboards and enable KPI analysis, perform regular data integrity/hygiene checks, adhere to GDPR regulations, identify areas for optimization, assist in list management, and may be asked to work directly with .com partners to ensure tool integration is seamless to support marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in marketing with 1-3 years of marketing automation experience (B2B preferred). Additionally, we’re looking for strong analytical and communication skills to align teams to marketing automation best practices. This candidate must be well versed in and have a deep understanding of analytics, attribution and data hygiene. Working on the demand gen/digital team requires the candidate to be thorough, contentious and collaborative. Required experience includes:

Salesforce (required)
Marketo and Hubspot
6Sense
Zoominfo
Experience in using Project Management Tools (Asana preferred)
Microsoft Suite Products

The expected salary for this position ranges from $54,000 to $70,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
