About the Position and Job Qualifications
The Marketing Assistant plays a vital role in ensuring Marketing’s smooth operation by providing support in advertising, marketing, community engagement and special events. This role requires effective collaboration with team members, excellent organizational skills and the ability to communicate professionally with both colleagues and customers.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
1. High School Diploma or GED.
2. Proficient skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other job-related software.
3. Analytical and problem-solving skills.
4. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS
1. Five plus years of job-related experience or equivalent educational experience.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Communications or related field.
3. Experience with Marketing specific platforms such as WordPress, Inlighten, Mailchimp, YEXT, Survey Monkey and Canva.
POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: This is a full-time hourly position, Monday-Friday, with a minimum of 30 hours per week scheduled at the supervisor’s discretion.
TRAVEL: Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected.
