ANALYST, MEDIA ANALYTICS
AMP Agency is looking for curious, thoughtful, technology-driven storytellers to join its Performance Analytics team. The Analyst will work on the front lines of our practice – preparing data for analysis, analyzing data, collaborating with team members to craft meaningful stories, and helping to build reports for clients. This person will ideally become a trusted expert regarding their clients’ marketing performance data, and will be asked to help team members across functions with accessing and interpreting results. They will work closely with an Analytics Lead to develop their skill-set, while also ensuring that we deliver an accurate, context-rich, and useful output to our clients.
Requirements/Skills:
- Intellectually curious, analytical, and passionate about data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interpret and present business value to our clients.
- Fluent in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and analysis.
- Experience working with data in some Marketing or Web Analytics capacity is preferred.
- Experience with a digital analytics solution ( g. DoubleClick, Facebook Business Manager, Sprout Social, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics ) is preferred.
- Experience with presentation software (e.g. PowerPoint, Keynote) is preferred.
- Experience with a data analysis/visualization tool (e.g. Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Agency or brand marketing experience (from an internship or other full-time role) is a plus.
- Experience with ETL tools (Funnel, Domo, Alteryx) is a plus.
- Experience with a tagging solution (e.g. Google Tag Manager, Tealium) is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Extract, clean and integrate data from disparate data sources – helping to build reports that inform, educate, and engage our clients.
- Analyze media campaign performance, website traffic, and user engagement using various analytics tools and create clear and insightful reports
- Support internal teams by identifying the “what” and explaining the “why” found in data trends, building actionable insights from the work.
- Collaborate across functional teams (e.g. Media, Creative, Tech) to identify opportunities for both client optimization and internal improvement.
- Help to build presentations and other client-facing documentation.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Marketing Campaign Performance Measurement: Identify key metrics needed to deliver on goals, lead the collection and analysis of data needed to measure key performance indicators.
- Reporting & Analysis: Provide initial analyses of target consumer behavior, conversion data, and consumer journeys. Present to internal teams and clients with recommended strategies across marketing channels to continuously improve ROI.
- Model development: Create proprietary analytic models and measures of marketing programs to lead development of ROI and attribution models, and educate internal team and clients on modeling build process, application and business implications.

Minimum Qualifications

Education Level: (Required): Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Field of Study/Area of Experience: Marketing, Sales and/or Replenishment Analytics

Incumbent must be able to perform the essential functions of the job. Work is performed primarily in an office environment. Typically requires the ability to sit for extended periods of time (66%+ each day), ability to hear the telephone, ability to enter data on a computer and may also require the ability to lift up to 10 pounds.
