This Position Is Hybrid

NYC Salary Range – $85,620 – $98,000 annually; compensation is commensurate to geographic location.

Reports to Manager, Member Insights.

To support that mission, the Marketing Analyst will help research and analyze the wants, needs, behaviors, and perceptions of UNFCU’s membership. The insights and recommendations you provide in this role are critical to UNFCU’s strategic planning and prioritization efforts. You will be responsible for distinguishing between wants and needs and ensuring the member is at the forefront of all our recommendations. Your work will enable teams across the organization to better serve the United Nations community and bring them financial peace of mind.

What You’ll Do

  • Regardless of seniority or role, uphold UNFCU’s mission, core values, and guiding principles by providing an exceptional service experience to colleagues and members alike through consistent demonstration of our service excellence behaviors
  • Perform a variety of ad hoc data queries, market segmentation, profitability modeling, target list creation, and trending analyses to provide insight about the behaviors of UNFCU membership
  • Measure and track effectiveness of online marketing campaigns and provide stakeholders insight into online campaign performance
  • Analyze digital metrics (site traffic, visitor paths, conversion rates) to recommend website content updates
  • Enhance our understanding of member needs and behaviors through analysis of multiple feedback channels including surveys, focus groups, and member service interactions
  • Assist with expanding text analytics programming for open-ended feedback
  • Identify business challenges and opportunities through standardized reporting and ad hoc data analytics
  • Structure and manage projects by identifying key elements, important milestones, and timelines
  • Assist in designing new reports and processes, studying system capabilities, and working with technology partners
  • Perform market research to provide recommendations
  • Serve as subject matter expert for corporate initiatives such as strategic learning on UNFCU’s member, product, and service data and research
  • Assist in the selection of marketing research and analytics software vendors
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, personal networks, and professional societies
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state laws and regulations and UNFCU’s Code of Ethics & Business Conduct

What we’re seeking

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer or Data Science, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Math, or Statistics or equivalent experience with demonstrated proficiency
  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing research and/or analytics
  • Experience in business and data analysis in a corporate setting
  • Understanding of complex data structures
  • Proficient in web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SiteImprove)
  • Proficient in organizing and analyzing unstructured data
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools to build dashboards (Tableau)
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate testing
  • Strong data visualization skills
  • Presentation skills; able to command an audience
  • Have a general curiosity of consumer behavior
  • Proactive team player with strong problem solving capability
  • Proficiency in analyzing large amounts of data from multiple sources
  • Ability to synthesize data to top-level insights
  • Ability to structure and manage projects independently with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to adapt to new technology quickly
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Ability to continuously improve efficiencies of processes
