Marketing Analyst

Position Summary:

Analyze, strategize, and execute Galaxy Store Mobile Apps & Games marketing and analytics operations. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to win new market segments, articulate business initiatives, and design new business systems and processes to scale up the existing promotions that will boost the MBO (revenue / new PU / ARPPU) performance

Responsibilities:

Data Analysis: Analyze key business metrics for stakeholders to understand and track progress across Galaxy Store (Apps & Games) operations. Provide insights about marketing, merchandising, product, and financial operations to inform stakeholders for data-driven strategic decision-making
Cross-functional Communication: Craft concise and articulate PowerPoint presentations that can socialize business initiatives, insights, and reports to cross-functional teams
Copywriting: Provide engaging marketing copies that will be displayed to end users via various marketing channels in Galaxy Store (banners, videos, notifications, etc.) and provide accurate analysis of copy performance
Statistical Testing: Design, execute, and analyze various statistical experimentation (e.g. A/B testing) to test assumptions and launch new marketing campaigns, features, and product releases
Reporting: Defining and implementing marketing and financial key performance indicators to deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports
Market Research: Conduct secondary market research with internal and external business intelligence tools to run market-leading promotional campaigns. Contextualize research findings and communicate actionable research insights to stakeholders
Process Improvement: Develop and review processes and mechanisms to improve operational efficiency and communication across marketing and financial operations

Requirements:

2 – 5 years of experience in data-focused roles such as marketing analytics, business operations, or data science
Advanced degree in other quantitative field or equivalent practical experience
Experience analyzing trends, competitors, and markets
Experience in crafting marketing copies and materials and performing real-time evaluations of marketing performance
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
Excellent communication skills and a proven record of working cross-functionally to achieve results.
Proactive and passionate personality
Team-first attitude
Experience in A/B testing and statistical modeling is a plus
Advanced degree in other quantitative field or equivalent practical experience

The base pay range above represents the low and high end of the base compensation range we reasonably expect to pay for this position.
