Brown & Brown is seeking a Marketing Analyst for our team in Doral, FL.

The Marketing Analyst is a position to enhance our analytical and reporting capabilities that convey plan performance. Someone who works in coordination with producers, service teammates, and carrier partners to provide employee health/benefits products and services to employers and public entities.

What You’ll Do

  • Monthly utilization and claim analysis
  • Underwriting analysis
  • Large Claim analysis
  • Multiple year rate/claim history
  • Contribution modeling
  • Plan design modeling/claim impact
  • Healthcare reform analysis (affordability)
  • Wellness plan impact on claim analysis
  • Take on additional projects as needed and as competency is proven
  • Participate in client meetings with producer or account executive in attendance
  • Support Sr. Account Executive with overall deliverables and timelines
  • Research, obtain data, review and analyze new business prospect.
  • Prepare and submit requests for proposals to employee benefits carriers to obtain quotes.
  • Work with Service team to review/edit/maintain client data for accurate RFP submission on assigned accounts.
  • Facilitate the gathering of Claims Experience from carriers including assembly and dissemination of monthly experience, large claims, and pharmacy data prior to market release.
  • Liaise and negotiate with carriers: inquire on outstanding items, evaluate coverage options, and negotiate terms and pricing for clients.
  • Manage the renewal marketing process, timelines, and expectations.
  • Oversee the execution of renewal implementation and close-outs.
  • Train, guide, and support internal teammates with work products.
  • Satisfy licensing continuing education requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in insurance, healthcare-related field or 1-3 years in Associate Analysist or equivalent position
  • Ability to obtain Florida License 2-15 insurance designation within first 6 months
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
