The Opportunity
The Marketing Administrator (MA) will report directly to the Director of Marketing and will be responsible for the organization and coordination of marketing activities, projects and marketing sponsored events. The Dechra MA will work closely with the marketing team to ensure the smooth execution of marketing plans and campaigns. They will be responsible for administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, preparing reports maintaining records. They will assist with coordination and dispersion of the assets for the sponsorship activities, for the veterinary conferences across the portfolios. The MA needs to be highly organized and detail oriented, to ensure the multiple deadlines are met, utilizing excellent communication and interpersonal skills. They need to have the ability to prioritize, work independently and take initiative when needed.Main Responsibilities
So, what will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope and the successful candidate will have responsibility for duties including:
- Provide overall support to the marketing department
- Manage deadlines of marketing activities at marketing led events, and assist with execution
- Manage marketing tracking sheets and update marketing managers and digital team on deadlines
- Assist with proofing of marketing/sales support materials, presentations and website content
- Support the Marketing Coordinator for Sales Led/Regional Meeting needs
- Marketing/Product Launch communication to Distributors
- Liaison between marketing and corporate account, shelter and distributor marketing
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with sponsorship organizers, vendors and organize third-party providers and vendors for marketing projects/activities
- Ensure digital assets are collected from sponsored events and booth and provided to digital team
- Understanding straightforward contracts and agreements
- Inventory and storage maintenance of marketing materials/literature
- Literature, sample and asset management for tradeshow meetings
- Create Purchase Orders and code invoices
- Track all related marketing sponsorship spend at events
- Build a working knowledge of products and processes to effectively assist on projects
- Work cross functionally with other Dechra Teams and collaborate, assist and execute as needed
- Undertaking other projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility, and adaptability in handling diverse responsibilities
- Attend meetings as needed
- Other tasks assigned as needed

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1-3 years professional experience in marketing or a related filed
- Proficiency in MS office with aptitude to learn new software and systems
- Marketing administration experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Up to 40% travel may be required
