Position Summary

The Global Marketing team within Bunge Food Solutions is offering a summer internship to a motivated candidate looking to get hands-on experience with the world of B2B marketing. The intern will get engaged in projects affecting our various operating regions (Europe, Asia, North America, Latin/South America) that relate to: category marketing, market data analysis, account planning and customer engagement, marcom/campaign development, and digital marketing (exact workstreams to be clarified closer to the time of employment). The role will provide a full perspective of what the global marketing function is responsible for, as well as some firsthand exposure to specific workstreams affecting businesses like plant-based ingredients or confectionery products.

Core Functions And Responsibilities

  • Strategic Marketing Analysis – the ability to define ‘where to play/how to win’ and the ability to draw conclusions based on information, frameworks and tools available to you for particular market segments.
  • Market Analysis – support ongoing strategic efforts such as regional supply & demand, market sizing, voice of customer research, and competitive analysis profiling.
  • Digital and marcom – work with the global brand communications team to generate plans and campaign content that build awareness and generate demand for certain segments, such as nutrition, lecithin, protein ingredients, etc.
  • Sales enablement – participate in elements of the account planning process with our global and key regional customers to help cross-functional customer teams perform due diligence on white space identification, relationship mapping, product portfolio analysis, sustainability, etc.

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in developing marketing reports and presenting analysis from primary and secondary data, i.e. sales data, survey analysis, proprietary commercial data, website/social media analytics, etc. (experience includes school and/or work)
  • Experience with marketing communication and/or brand management concepts, including pitching creative ideas or making business recommendations
  • Experience working with databases similar to SPINS, IRI, Nielsen IQ, Euromonitor, Mintel, Innova, Technomic, Datassential, and/or NPD is a plus
  • Required: Working towards a Bachelor’s degree in marketing, data analytics, business management, or agricultural business management; excellent writing, analytical and presentation skills; knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office
