This role is responsible for developing and executing the strategy, plan and roadmap to aggressively grow our Direct to Consumer (DTC) business and will be held accountable for attaining aggressive sales, profitability and shopper engagement targets. This person will be directly managing a team of managers, strategists and specialists and will be responsible for building the team’s skill set and streamlining work processes/clearly defining swim lanes.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute global DTC marketing strategy and roadmap, including building a strong consumer proposition that will fast-track sales growth while staying profit accretive to total company.
Create and execute long-term and annual business plans and forecasts for our DTC business.
Build business case for any resources (eg people, funding, partners, process change) needed to support and achieve business goals.
Develop and execute strong DTC assortment/portfolio, pricing, marketing and promotions strategies.
Create a vision and roadmap for delivering best in class shopper journey and site experience. Ensure speedy and effective execution and optimization.
Create a capabilities roadmap for our DTC sites. Lead the web development/cross functional team in prioritizing and executing the same.
Collaborate with cross functional team (e.g. IT, Logistics, Insights, Brand, Category, Customer Care, Creative, Advertising & Digital Marketing) to ensure alignment on strategies and plans and the right infrastructure to deliver business goals.
Provide strategic direction and guidance for SEO, SEM, CRO, and CRM to maximize sales and position PSB’s DTC business for long-term success.
Lead, manage and develop the DTC team members.
Measure, track, report out and optimize on DTC site KPIs.
Qualifications
Minimum 8 years of experience in digital marketing, DTC, eCommerce or similar field.
College degree in marketing or related fields preferred
Strong experience in building annual and long term business and marketing plans
Highly developed strategic thinking skills
Strong collaboration skills and ability to navigate organization to implement changes in processes
Strong ability to prioritize and set clear directions
Consistent record of achieving strong results
Excellent organization; project and team management skills.
Relationships
Reports to Chief Revenue Officer
Works closely with Brand Teams, Category team, Finance, Logistics, Digital Marketing, IT/Web Development, International Marketing, Insights and Creative teams.
