Internship with AI-based Sports Tech Startup!
Sparrow is an early-stage startup that uses AI to help athletes improve, starting with Golf.We’re looking for a bright, motivated, resourceful student or a recent graduate ready to learn the ins and outs of the startup, AI, and sports worlds.The ideal candidate has a passion for golf and a desire to shape the future of the sports world.You will work closely with the company’s serial-entrepreneur CEO & core team to strategize and execute the upcoming company agenda, including:
- Public Relations & Press Initiatives
- Golfer-Focused Product Strategy
- Marketing & Analytics through Paid Advertising Platforms
- Social Media Presence & Growth (including Content Creation)
- User Feedback Communications
- Product Development & Testing
- Product & Marketing Data Analytics
- Other Strategic Initiatives
This position represents a unique opportunity to:
- Work closely with the company founders – successful serial entrepreneurs who have started numerous companies, raised over $20 million in venture capital investments, and have 2 successful exits. (check out our founders here: https://youtu.be/krVMjW0Cy2w)
- Gain first-hand experience with a multitude of company operations like app development and releases, nationwide growth marketing strategies, product strategy, and much more.
- Brainstorm and drive company Initiatives while working alongside a team. See the real-world impact of your work in a growth stage business setting
- Learn the ins and outs of running a startup with tremendous potential
- The internship is unpaid but participants receive a $100 weekly stipend, college credit, and potentially earn an equity bonus (stock options)
- Most importantly, gain working relationships in the tech, AI, and sports industries
This internship is a 12 month position and requires 40 hours per week with potential for hire based on performance and upon successful completion.
Our ideal candidate is:
- A student at or recent graduate of a reputable 4-year college, with either a business, communications, marketing, psychology, hospitality or related fields and/or relevant experience and interests.
- Able to work a 40-hour week
- Uber-productive, able to switch between different kinds of tasks, and comfortable taking on all jobs complex or mundane.
- Experienced and comfortable using online tools like G-Suite, email marketing platforms, and social media outlets like Youtube, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Detail-oriented and thoughtful when executing a task or initiative
- Able to problem-solve and innovate on the job to get things done when a solution isn’t obvious or involves multiple steps or tools
