This is a hybrid position that requires working from prAna’s Carlsbad area HQ at least 3 days a week.

About The Position

The DTC Sales Planning Analytics Manager will partner with a team of data-informed Brand and Digital Marketers to deliver and operationalize multiple data and business initiatives for prAna’s direct business, including eCommerce and retail. This role is responsible for enabling marketers, merchandisers, and site managers to optimize the business for growth through data driven insights and recommendations.

The role is a partner to the VP of Brand Marketing and Global Direct to Consumer, with high-level, confidential, and strategic communications. This role works closely with many areas of the direct-to-consumer business as well as cross-functionally with the marketing, finance, planning, wholesale and enterprise analytics and data teams.

How you’ll make a Difference

Serve a key role owning and defining digital performance reporting and analysis while establishing best practice and standards in analytics for prAna’s eCommerce business
Design and deliver polished, in-depth analysis and reporting that provides actionable recommendations in line with business goals; develop measurement frameworks and set targets and benchmarks to help evaluate success within marketing programs
Monitor and provide best practices for improvements of conversion to optimize campaign success, in collaboration with Digital Marketing and Operations teams; propose, manage, and execute A/B tests and personalization strategies for site conversion optimization
Work with internal and external teams to identify areas of opportunity to grow, increase profitability and optimize program effectiveness
Champion business priorities and requirements, working with the VP of DTC and brand leadership to determine priorities; Raise functional considerations for prioritization and communicate relevant activities to the functional teams
Ensure timely sales forecast communication and partnership with direct marketing team and continually monitor sales effectiveness and sales trends to achieve overall performance targets
Proactively analyze sales performance and adjust targets as needed to contribute to annual sales execution and achievement of financial growth objectives are me; present insights and recommendations to Leadership for final decision making and strategic planning alignment

YOU ARE

Well versed in working with all levels of management/teams, including but not limited to Executives, Directors, Managers, Analysts, Coordinators in a planning and analytics role to optimize business performance
Known for being a thought leader and analytics subject matter expert
A skilled analytics translator between brand business partners and technical teams
A savvy communicator who can resolve conflict, remove roadblocks, and lead decision-making when critical issues arise

YOU HAVE

5-7+ years of experience in direct-to-consumer industry (across eCommerce and DTC retail), preferably apparel
Experience working with a variety of information systems and data files, including large and complex files: analyzing file structures, using and creating file layouts, transforming raw data into finished products
Proficient with MS Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Adobe Analytics, or similar digital reporting platforms; Demonstrated experience using advanced Excel features and techniques, and ability to teach others
Experience with modeling and developing functional reporting and dashboards, and an ability to interpret to make meaning from data to inform and develop future direction and sales growth drivers
Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Business, Finance, IS, Data Analytics, or equivalent

Salary Range: $104,700 – $175,000

Pay decisions are determined by multiple factors, including what the market is paying, a candidate’s capabilities and skills, years of experience, and internal equity.
