Position: Director of Marketing

Hoveround Corporation is seeking a creative, strategic, and innovative Director of Marketing. The Director of Marketing will be responsible for the overall marketing strategy and execution of the company’s marketing programs. The ideal candidate will have experience in digital marketing, social media, and creative direction. The Director of Marketing will be a hands-on leader with a proven track record in creating and executing strategic marketing plans.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manages all lead generation programs as well as internal processes with respect to lead assignment.
  • Analyzes, interprets, and executes marketing strategy based on data related to various areas of the business, including but not limited to marketing, operations, sales, logistics, and industry.
  • Reports on the data and analysis of the company’s marketing programs to the executive team, as well as reporting on identified strategies, opportunities, and challenges with respect to marketing.
  • Manages commercial, internet, mail lists, direct mail campaigns, social media and all other media sources as related to lead generation and corporate image.
  • Manages marketing support requests from internal and external departments.
  • Manages direct to consumer marketing strategy.
  • Manages company public relations activities.
  • Works directly with the respective departments to manage and coordinate attendance of trade shows,
  • Provides hands on supervision and management to members of the Marketing Department.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by President and/or CEO.
  • Works collaboratively with Executive team including but not limited Sales, Operations, Logistics, Information Systems, and external vendor partners.

Education/Experience/Technical Requirements

  • BS or BA Degree, Marketing Degree preferred, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Minimum five year’s marketing management experience.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to negotiate and communicate at all organizational levels.
  • Computer literacy in a Windows environment with emphasis on Excel spreadsheets and Marketing software familiarity.

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Bradenton, FL 34203: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Marketing: 5 years (Preferred)
  • business to consumer marketing: 3 years (Preferred)
