Job Description
Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Specialist is responsible for contributing to the digital and social media team with the execution of digital marketing initiatives in alignment with department strategies and overall business objectives. This role specializes in the areas of social media content and execution, website optimization, content strategy and development and more. Supports development of marketing plans that best position and promote unique products and services in the digital space. This position offer a hybrid schedule.
Job Responsibilities
- Helps create and schedules content across social media platforms
- Identifies opportunities to enhance social media interaction with clients and/or the general public
- Contributor to development of social media content as assigned
- Provides localized social media support for individual business unit social media efforts
- Collaborates with creative team and marketing team on social media platform content
- Assist in developing, executing, and monitoring digital marketing initiatives
- Responsibilities include managing material creation process and providing assistance to internal clients on using marketing tools
- Typically follows existing procedures to perform routine assignments and to solve standard problems
- Analyzes basic information and standard practices to make decisions impacting work performed
- Individual contributor working with direct oversight
- Performs all other duties as assigned by management
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred
Experience
- Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience
- Experience working with a social media management tool, such as Sprout Social, Hootsuite or similar
- Experience working with analytical software (e.g. Google Analytics, SiteCatalyst, Coremetrics, etc.)
- Experience in working with website optimization tools such as SEM Rush or BrightEdge
