The Digital Marketing Associate is responsible for supporting various marketing projects and tasks for the corporate website. This role will collaborate and work with other members of the marketing team, vendors, agencies, and third-party consultants to manage and execute website projects and updates for all brands under the Western Alliance umbrella. As a member of the MarTech team, which operates as a Center of Excellence, the Digital Marketing Associate will also support additional digital initiatives such as search engine optimization, accessibility remediation, email marketing, location listing management, social media community management, reporting and other projects as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

  • Support website management by contributing to planning, project management, implementation, and testing of website changes.
  • Support day-to-day content management and maintenance work. Execute updates through the Content Management System following marketing standards and procedures.
  • Apply UX, search engine optimization, and accessibility best practices to enhance web outcomes. Provide guidance to marketing team members.
  • Support website personalization and A/B testing. Implement campaigns, analyze findings and report outcomes.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and after-hours website releases.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of digital marketing efforts.
  • Stay abreast of the latest digital tools, technologies, and methodologies.
  • Maintain documentation and training materials.
  • Assist in managing development teams, timelines, and invoice processing.
  • Occasional travel required.

What You Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year university
  • 2 years of relevant website content management experience
  • Search engine optimization experience
  • Creative thinker and problem solver
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Detail oriented and ability to multitask effectively
  • Self-starter with a sense of urgency and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to learn banking products, services, and regulations
  • Drupal CMS experience
  • Website accessibility experience
  • Marketing experience in the Banking and Financial Services industry
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and Workfront
