Job Description

The Director of Analytics & Marketing Oak Creek Dispensary and Farms is responsible for the profit and loss and maximizing the profitability of the dispensary and farm operations, controlling operating costs, and achieving sales and profitability goals. You will report to and collaborate with the Black Oak Creek Tribal Corp. to drive strategic initiatives, drive process improvements and implement programs and systems to improve business performance.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee opening and closing duties, ensuring a smooth start and finish to each operational day.
  • Monitor profit/loss statements and cost of goods sold (COGS) to optimize financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Run comprehensive reports in Blaze (POS system) and Trym (seed to sale software) to analyze sales trends, inventory management, and customer preferences.
  • Utilize analytical insights to make informed decisions on inventory stocking, product placement, and marketing strategies.
  • Develop and implement effective marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic, enhance customer engagement, and increase sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to execute digital and in-store promotions, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines.
  • Lead and inspire a diverse team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to enhance staff knowledge of product offerings and sales techniques.
  • Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory requirements and maintain a thorough understanding of cannabis industry regulations.
  • Comply and participate in comprehensive financial audits and reviews.
  • Maintain company standards of safety and security.
  • May be required to perform other duties as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ year of proven experience in a leadership role within a retail cannabis dispensary or similar industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in POS and seed-to-sale software (Blaze and Trym experience preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
  • · Ability to work nights and weekends, with flexibility to handle opening and closing duties.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 – $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
