We’re looking for an Associate Brand Manager to be the liaison between one of our licensed brands and our internal teams to continue growing the partnership and business. This role will also serve as a Sales Assistant, working with several global retailer customers. The Associate Brand Manager will work closely with cross-functional teams such as Production and Design on approvals, purchase orders, and deliveries. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of initiative as well as a thorough understanding of the brand and market.
Responsibilities:
- Liaison of communication between AmeriCo. Group teams and buyers from mass retailers to generate sales and manage purchase orders
- Liaison of communication between internal teams and brand’s corporate team
- Upload CADS and follow each item through the approval process of concepts, design, pre-production, and TOP until completed submissions
- Track sales and royalties for business and report directly to brand
- Work closely with Production and Design to manage purchase orders, on time deliveries, and design approvals
- Analyze product distribution, sales, and market research to gain consumer insights and contribute to creative development
- Travel to showcase the line to the buyers, prepare samples, and submit expense reports
- Set up new accounts in retailers’ system, fill out new vendor forms, and gain understanding of customer requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of Sales, Brand Management, or other relevant work experience
- Bachelors degree preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Proven ability to learn and work in new systems/platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a variety of teams and influence with confidence
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced work environment
- Knowledge of SAP is a plus
- Ability to travel to retailer headquarters (~3-5 times a year)
Annual salary range: $60,000 – $65,000
