Job Description
The Enterprise Social Responsibility (ESR) team is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to support our efforts to increase visibility of Disney’s social impact initiatives internally and externally. In this role, you will help to support marketing and communications initiatives connected to ESR signature programs including supporting cross-company umbrella marketing campaign plans, high-profile Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activations across segments and regions, and ongoing CSR storytelling. They will run and maintain CSR activation calendars and collaboration processes, including our creative asset management system, and help to track impact across marketing and communications efforts.
This role is a Project Hire (PH) with an anticipated timeframe of approximately 18 months.

Key Responsibilities:
- Support content contribution and maintenance for The Walt Disney Company CSR storytelling “editorial calendar” that feeds internal and external communication strategies (e.g., employee engagement, social media)
- Coordinate with teams across the enterprise to amplify CSR stories across relevant internal Disney channels including drafting copy as needed.
- Support CSR Integration with Disney Beginnings team through email outreach, on their website and in their presentations as needed to engage new hires in CSR storytelling.
- Help to manage Digital Asset Management system through ongoing updates as well as user training and education. Support the community of users and ongoing asset collection and advise best practices with the platform.
- Collaborate with various internal teams to collect and analyze marketing campaign results (e.g., impressions, reach, social media metrics, philanthropic partner impact).
- Engage in social media planning and monitoring for growing CSR social media presence.
- Serve as the administrator for the Social Responsibility inbox and collaborate with program teams to respond to inquiries
- Support team on other CSR marketing and communications projects as needed (i.e. CSR Asset Creation, CSR Campaigns, CSR Marketing/Communication infrastructure projects, consumer research, etc.)
Basic Qualifications:
- At least two years of experience in brand marketing or communications
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Comfortable working within a matrix structure; flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
- Empathetic and collaborative with a curiosity for social responsibility and social impact
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written)
- A creative and solution-oriented problem solver
- Exhibits a personal responsibility and dedication to work
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, business, marketing or related field; or equivalent professional experience
- Experience at Disney or an agency that works with Disney is especially helpful
- Hands-on experience with social media
- Familiarity with Smartsheet, PPT, Keynote, Brandfolder and/or Media Monitoring software a plus
The hiring range for this position in Burbank, CA is $70,000.00-$93,800.00 per year based on a 40 hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.Report job
