Job Description
Leads the collaboration between marketing, creative and merchandising to ensure efficient and effective content production across all channels. Works upstream to ensure logistical details (SKU lists, claims, photography priorities, samples and timelines) are aligned and in support of the enterprise customer calendar.
1. Responsible for various marketing related activities such as photoshoot prep and planning, sample coordination and serving as the single source of truth for feature SKUs. Works in in heavy partnership with the in-house creative team.
2. Detail-gathering for aligned to customer-facing marketing campaigns and stories (heavy focus on every day value campaigns, seasonally relevant moments and newness). This includes partnering with merch, aligning claims with legal, briefing in evergreen campaigns to the in-house marketing team.
3. Define and implement streamlined process for gathering merchandising priority initiatives to feed integrated marketing campaigns. Works across numerous merchandise divisions to gather priority stories, associated hero items and samples to support integrated marketing campaigns outside of run the business promotions. Partner across marketing channel owners to understand content needs and priorities to translate into plans for creative asset production.
4. Stand up and own process for sample collection, shot list prioritization and preproduction in partnership with in-house Creative Production team. Serve as logistical owner for each priority initiative to map out and ensure plan of attack is in place to produce assets in support of aligned to priorities (eg photography shot lists, SKU lists, hero items, etc).
5. Effectively resolve conflicts between schedule, resources, vendors, merchant, and creative teams.
Qualification
1. Minimum 3-5 years working in retail or agency content development; production experience a plus.
2. Strong bias toward action / proactivity and enjoys juggling multiple priorities on swift timelines.
3. Demonstrated experience in cross functional collaboration (ideally across marketing and merchandising disciplines).
4. High attention to detail and strong personal accountability.
5. Experience with creating and executing process improvement ideas and desire to shape initiatives ‘from scratch’ vs. be handed a defined playbook.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
