Job Description

Loyola Medicine, treating the whole person with compassion—to “also treat the human spirit.” The Marketing & Communications Department is looking for Marketing Associate to assist on all stages of marketing campaigns including marketing, digital social media, media relations and internal communications for Loyola Medicine.

In this role, the Marketing Associate will collaborate with the Loyola Medicine Marketing and Communications team in executing key priorities, including marketing, digital and social media, media relations and internal communications. The associate will work closely with the marketing managers, social media, digital and media relations teams to develop, plan, implement and manage projects to achieve growth and communication goals for the health system.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Drafts and implements communication and promotional plans for internal clients (i.e., pharmacy, safety, food service).
  • Manages consumer blog content calendar, production process, approvals and posting.
  • Drafts promotional materials, including consumer-facing and physician-facing promotional and marketing materials in conjunction with the content writer.
  • Collaborates with social media coordinator and webmaster on content development, including copy writing and image selection under the direction of the copy writer.
  • Works closely with internal communications team to draft content, including written copy, photography, etc., as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or Communications OR equivalent training acquired via work experience.
  • 1-2 years of previous job-related experience; 3-5 years preferred.
