Job Description
The digital marketing & ecommerce assistant has in-depth knowledge of digital marketing techniques, excellent interpersonal skills, and can work to strict deadlines. Ultimately, a top-level digital marketing assistant provides valuable assistance to the marketing team and helps oversee and direct ecommerce sales on Amazon and Walmart.com.
Essential Functions Include:
- Supporting the digital marketing manager and work in tandem with marketing team
- Optimize and create online product listings on amazon and Walmart marketplaces
- Oversee, update, and schedule shipments for online inventory fulfillment.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels for ecommerce platforms.
- Conduct and analyze promotions and other ecommerce programs
- Performing administrative tasks to ensure the functionality of marketing activities.
- Conducting market and product research for SEO, keyword, and competitor analysis.
- Employing online marketing analytics to gather information from web and social media pages.
- Updating databases, spreadsheets, and inventory lists.
Qualifications Include:
- 1+ years of digital marketing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field (preferred)
- Experience working in Amazon and Walmart Marketplaces (preferred)
- In-depth knowledge of marketing techniques and databases.
- Proficient in MS Office, excel and marketing software.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and online analytics.
- Understanding of advanced marketing principles.
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of office management.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently on projects.
Physical Requirements:
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
