Marketing Coordinator Qualifications:

Skills and Experience

  • You like to write and proofread!
    • Demonstrated experience in writing clear, organized, and effective business communications for print, digital and social media platforms.
    • Ability to engage different audiences in the appropriate brand voice
    • Attention to the details, specifically ensuring the proper use of grammar and punctuation.
    • Able to review and edit other team members’ content for clarity, conciseness, grammar, and punctuation.
  • You enjoy attending and planning a variety of events.
    • Event planning experience to include, planning, communications, on-site support, and virtual event production
    • Ability to occasionally travel to offsite recruiting and/or firm events around Virginia.
  • You can leverage data to support marketing initiatives.
  • Experience with CRM data entry and maintenance
  • Ability to analyze data to determine engagement and success of external communications and social media posts
  • Ability to meet time constraints and deadlines
  • Ability to collaborate and communicate across teams and departments within the Firm
  • Ability to own a project and see it to the finish line with minimal supervision

  • Business acumen and the ability to maintain confidentiality

Education

  • A college degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field of study
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office products (Word, Outlook, Teams, Publisher, and Excel)

You might also have:

  • Interest or experience in recruiting marketing
  • Experience with maintaining a Communications and Social Media calendar
  • Working knowledge of Glassdoor/Indeed, WordPress, HubSpot, Canva, and/or Adobe software products (Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Graphic design skills
  • Writing and social media content samples required for applicant consideration.
