Digital Marketing Strategist Inbound

Job Summary
The Digital Marketing Strategist is a savvy, data-driven inbound marketer who will capture new demand for Paycor’s products through online acquisition strategies targeting our key personas, as well as, supporting our expansion into key markets and audiences. This critical team member will partner closely with our paid and organic digital strategists, the broader Demand Generation and Product Marketing teams, and our sales leaders to drive measurable revenue for the business.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Proactively seeks, identifies, evaluates, and tests innovative opportunities for user acquisition growth through digital efforts.
- Responsible for meeting & exceeding aggressive qualified lead generation goals by partnering with our digital marketing agencies and internal stakeholders to recommend and implement online lead generation campaigns.
- Ensures business & brand strategies are translated to agency partners and across online touchpoints.
- Understands key segment personas and customer journeys to reach and engage audiences.
- Measures and reports performance of digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI & KPIs).
- Develops and presents learnings with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Collaborates and serves as a liaison with our sales team to report on hot lead and inbound call volume against goals to ensure lead follow-up best practices and opportunity conversion goals are met.
- Partners with Product Marketing, Content Marketing, and fellow Demand Generation team members to come up with go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and content that support key audience growth.
- Assists with broader multivariate testing strategies to drive higher landing page and inbound call conversion rates.
- Researches and understands the latest digital trends and changes; making recommendations to continuously improve Paycor’s online presence.
- Collaborates with Marketo and Marketing Ops teams for campaign launch set up, reporting, and insights.
Requirements
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- 3+ years of proven B2B experience with online marketing strategies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, English, Communications, Public Relations or related field required.
- Advanced knowledge and experience with digital acquisition strategies such as pay-per-click, pay-per-lead strategies, demand gen programs, search engine marketing, and call tracking programs.
- Strong analytical skills and a passion for testing, analyzing, and iterating—all while measuring performance against KPIs.
- Google Tag Manager experience a plus.
- Foundational understanding of Marketing Automation.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate well in written and verbal forms with internal teams and vendors.
- Strong organizational, time management, and project management skills and attention to details.
- Familiar with how to leverage Salesforce.com CRM reporting for campaign analysis and showcasing results.
- Experienced in MS Office.

We also offer competitive compensation determined by each individual’s relevant experience, skills, and education. We anticipate the base pay for this position to be between $54,800 – $87,707. In addition to base pay, Paycor Associates are eligible for either a performance-based annual bonus or commission, depending on their position.
