The Product Marketing Manager is responsible for launching and enhancing products by working cross-functionally with the product management team to surface client and user insights that inform the roadmap and leverage those to build scaled go-to-market campaigns that encourage adoption of those solutions. Product marketers will own the product and solution brand strategy, product hierarchy, value proposition, buyer personas, and positioning for their products and solutions. They will act as the bridge between technical product knowledge and how the product is marketed and sold.
Job Duties
Understand the market and our clients better than anyone else: What are the pain points, how MX solves them, and what needs will come in the future.
Develop and execute world-class launch plans for new solution offerings both to internal stakeholders and the market. Including positioning, messaging, buyer personas, sales strategy, and GTM for your product areas through the full product life-cycle.
Own marketing support for product and solution areas, including asset creation, training materials, campaign planning, and industry-leading thought leadership content.
Inform product development and roadmap of market needs for your products
Researching and understanding the competitive landscape for your product and solutions to know how we win and opportunities to improve our place in the market. Then developing compelling competitive assets and messaging that drive engagement and interest.
Monitor and own metrics regarding revenue, pipeline, win rate, and adoption metrics for product and solution areas.
Work cross-functionally with Customer Marketing and Demand Marketing to launch integrated marketing campaigns to drive awareness and generate demand for your product and solution areas.
Work cross-functionally with Customer Marketing and Product Management to surface success stories and new use cases that prove ROI.
Work cross-functionally with the sales enablement team to provide training, content, and support for increasing sales rates and improving the sales cycle.
Job Requirements
4+ years of experience in B2B product marketing preferred
Great experience in high growth SaaS companies that target Enterprise accounts
Demonstrated ability in launching and growing innovative technology products
Strong experience with the financial industry and with software companies would be a significant advantage
Strong communication skills that make any software feature sound interesting
Self driven to make and meet your commitments
Entrepreneurial spirit that you are willing to roll up your sleeves
A self-starter who thrives on owning product marketing and driving results
Work Environment
At MX, we utilize a hybrid work model, which allows us to attract top talent and increase impact through collaboration. Our team members enjoy a balance of remote work and in-office days. Travel expectations for remote employees is about 15%, and the company covers travel expenses for remote employees. Local employees will utilize in-office time on a weekly basis Tuesday through Thursday. Both local and remote employees can take advantage of our incredible office space with onsite perks like company-paid meals, onsite massage therapist, golf simulator, and meditation room to name a few.
Compensation
The expected on-target earnings (OTE), which is comprised of a base salary and other forms of cash compensation, such as bonus or commissions is currently $94,500-$113,500. This pay range is just one component of MX’s total rewards package. MX takes a number of factors into account when determining individual starting pay, including job and level they are hired into, location, skillset, peer compensation.
