Job Description:
Intersection is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Product Marketing Manager for our LinkNYC program. As the Product Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our innovative urban connectivity platform. You will be responsible for developing and executing a product marketing plan for LinkNYC to help ensure the product delivers maximum value for advertisers and grows LinkNYC’s share of the NYC digital OOH market. The role will include responsibility for crafting the product’s overall positioning, LinkNYC specific solutions for priority advertising verticals, and building solutions for advertisers. In addition, the role will help ensure that campaigns exceed advertiser expectations, allowing for renewals and upsells.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Positioning and Messaging:
Develop, maintain and evolve clear, compelling, and unified positioning for LinkNYC that appeals to advertisers, community stakeholders, and the general population.
Identify and codify opportunities to differentiate LinkNYC from other transit, street furniture, billboards, and other out of home advertising products
Translate LinkNYC’s positioning into messaging that can resonate with all stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent messaging permeates all marketing and PR channels
Attend sales meetings and market rides as necessary to provide advertisers with the “voice of the product”
Vertical Solution Strategy:
Create and execute go-to-market plans for high priority LinkNYC verticals, including fashion/luxury, entertainment, and financial services
Create proactive sales opportunities, off the shelf packages, perm opportunities, and programming that leverages LinkNYC’s unique capabilities and scale – i.e., advertising solutions that are truly differentiated from other OOH (e.g., Closing Bell for Finance)
Determine necessary product adjustments that need to be made (across operations, engineering, content, pricing/packaging, data/analytics, and sales) to maximize LinkNYC’s advertising revenue in said verticals
Partner with the measurement team to develop LinkNYC specific measurement solutions and case studies that prove LinkNYC’s impact
Create guidelines and best practices for post campaign reporting for different advertising clients
Ensure we have compelling case examples for LinkNYC campaigns
Work with the various teams to make sure the vertical strategies are adopted and deployed
Product/Project Management:
Develop subnetworks within the LinkNYC network (e.g., luxury, entertainment) and ensure these networks are properly set up and supported
Project manage large scale sponsorships, perms, and impression banks as required
Collaborate with CityBridge management, operations, product, ad ops, marketing, and sales teams to ensure cross functional advertising projects are completed (e.g., new ad products, repair prioritization, subnetworks)
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management and/or product marketing in media / technology
Strong understanding of product positioning, pricing, and messaging.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Proven ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
Attention to detail – must be both creative and precise
Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools
Total Cash compensation: $80,000 – 120,000
