The Marketing Department:
The Marketing department serves as a primary growth engine for all of PracticeTek’s business verticals. We are the fuel that drives customer acquisition, conversion and retention through increasing brand awareness and promoting PracticeTek’s products and services. We are the face and voice that represents PracticeTek and its brands. We care as much about our team as we do about our products. The Career Opportunity:
Our Product Marketing Manager is a pivotal role leading the strategy and implementation of marketing for key brands in our Dental vertical. A key focus for this role will be leading the success of Ora—Ora is a leading edge, revolutionary dental PMS that encompasses the full suite of software solutions needed to run a successful practice in the modern era and beyond. It combines the benefits of a cloud-based PMS, with sophisticated patient engagement, imaging, AI, insurance verification and other functionality in one integrated solution. Ora is purpose built to scale from one practice to hundreds or thousands, supporting both private practices and multi-specialties or DSOs.
Your primary responsibilities will include creating a productive, diversified lead-gen engine designed to provide high quality opportunities to our sales organization for both enterprise DSO audiences and single-site private practice audiences. Additionally, an important function of the roll will focus on sales enablement, retention, and customer-focused expansion programs to deliver an ongoing value outside of just being their software provider.

This role works collaboratively with the Senior Director of Marketing for Dental Care, alongside peer Product Marketing Managers within the vertical, and with channel strategists within our Marketing Operations Center.
The position is based remotely and collaborates with remote and hybrid colleagues across Eastern and Pacific time zones.
Areas of Accountability:
Drive diversified lead generation strategies to exceed monthly targets and lead capture goals. Primary KPIs include: MQL, SQL, MRR and CAC
Develop a deep understanding of buyer needs and communicate how our solutions meet those needs; address key personas in the marketplace
Deliver quarterly and annual marketing plans in collaboration with Marketing, Sales and Product stakeholders
Implement marketing plans alongside channel specialists in the Marketing Operations Center (support from graphic design, SEO, paid media, social media, etc.)
Lead the development of product messaging to be used across all media and customer engagement channels, working alongside copywriting, brand and SEO strategists
Understand the sales cycle; lead sales enablement efforts to communicate effectively to prospective customers via branded materials, campaigns, comms touchpoints and marketing automation workflows
Work with Content team to develop organic search-optimized and lead generating thought-leadership content in the form of webinars, blogs, whitepapers, etc.
Collaborate on cross-functional product marketing initiatives, including cross sell and partnership efforts involving brands within and outside the PracticeTek organization
Create effective campaigns to support product expansion and wallet share, working alongside customer success and sales expansion teams
Manage and monitor online reputation and presence of the organization(s) you support
Periodically attend trade shows or industry events
Competencies for Success:
6+ years of experience in B2B product marketing; demonstrated success marketing SaaS/software or related solutions—dental industry experience or enterprise healthcare marketing experience is preferred
Experience with customer journey mapping, persona development, and implementing strategies that support them via marketing automation platforms
Experience working with Hubspot, Salesforce, Asana, and related tools
Motived by KPIs and guided by data; comfortable with the “numbers” side of marketing
Deep generalist skill set—ability to lead and understand most strategic functions of marketing while having a particular depth in some areas to add value to our diverse team
Proven ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels, both internally and externally—agency or client services background a plus
Ability to collaborate well with both in-person and remote colleagues—comfortable with the use of Teams/slack, Video calls, and other virtual communication channels
Exceptional written and oral communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop clear, concise, compelling messaging for marketing initiatives and communicating/generating buy-in for strategies among internal stakeholders
Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and creative—driven to build something great and create marketing strategies that make a positive impact
Strong project management skills with exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
Ability and desire to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment—this is a roll up your sleeves, diverse and collaborative role. A great fit for the position likes to be involved in multiple areas of a project, from planning and inception down to the successful implementation of an idea
At Tops,(part of the PracticeTek family of companies) we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors to determine our offers of employment. This includes internal and external market factors as well as your individual experience and skills. These considerations can cause compensation to vary but we reasonably expect to pay between $60150 – $124850 for this position.
