Beyond Meat is looking for a resourceful, strategic and analytical Assistant Integrated Marketing Manager, Commercial who can contribute to the category-defining work we do in the pursuit of feeding a better future. The Assistant Integrated Marketing Manager will support the Integrated Marketing Manager and other marketing leaders to drive growth and excellence in Beyond Meat’s foodservice business. In this role, you’ll work closely across Beyond Meat’s partner marketing campaigns. As a key member of the global marketing organization, you will work closely cross-departmentally with core marketing and sales functions, as well as external vendors and customers, to support the Beyond Meat go-to-market strategic approach and execute partner marketing campaigns.
A successful candidate must have: a passion for our mission, a familiarity with the plant-based category and consumer, recent experience in a brand marketing or performance marketing function, and a track record of performing highly in a cross-functional environment. Experience in the foodservice industry is a plus.
The Assistant Integrated Marketing Manager, Commercial must be based in the Beyond Meat Headquarters in El Segundo, California.
TASKS, DUTIES, & GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Thinking & Project Management
Responsible for suggesting key opportunities and implications to the marketing plan and long-term strategy
Implements foodservice marketing programs that increase Beyond brand awareness, drive incremental menu integrations with Beyond products, and supports key sales and marketing initiatives
Supports teams to reach plan milestones; inclusive of budget recommendations and management
Business Analytics & Insights
Utilizes consumer and customer data to identify business insights and strategic solutions to support business growth with mid-level guidance and direction.
Provides relevant reports, gathers key competitive intelligence, develops insights, and reports findings to the team through thoughtful analysis and visionary overview.
Exhibits a deep understanding of the target audience (B2B or B2C) and consistently utilizes an audience-lens and relevant insights to make recommendations
Cross Functional Collaboration
Develop strong, trustworthy relationships with partners within and outside of the marketing department
Engages and aligns with appropriate partners to resolve issues and bring new ideas/approaches
Channel/Customer Marketing Campaigns
Link brand marketing strategy to develop a channel/trade strategy for key customers
Develop account and or channel specific marketing tactics that connect both with the brand strategy and specific sales or customer objectives
Brand/Creative Development
Assist with the development of sell-in materials and toolkits for the cross-functional marketing team, sales organization, and distributor partners, working with key stakeholders such as Sales, Legal, and PR.
Ensure Beyond branding (e.g. logo, brand names, etc) is strategically integrated into partner’s marketing and messaging. Ensure alignment between both internal and external stakeholders and Beyond brand standards.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Technical Skills, and/or Previous Experience:
BA or BS required
2+ years related work experience in a related field
1+ years of experience in a professional role managing a budget
Experience in a role supporting marketing, brand management or product management and leading the development of new/existing products or strategies from conception to implementation
Demonstrate analytical ability, specifically around measuring results and leveraging business insights to inform future strategies
Entrepreneurial spirit, motivated by an ability to operate in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to adapt to change quickly
Highly effective communicator who can align multiple priorities and personalities towards a common goal.
Strong ability to build relationships and to collaborate with all levels of individuals internal and external to the organization.
Consistent record of driving creative development.
Proficient skills using Google and MS Office suite (particularly Sheets/Excel, Docs/Word, and Slides/PowerPoint), Project Management Software (e.g., Smartsheet or comparable applications)

WORK ENVIRONMENT
HQ Office five days per week
Up to 10% travel, as needed for trade events & customer meetings
The starting annual base pay for this role is between USD $80,000 and $95,000. The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
