About the Role:
As the Growth Channels Marketing Associate, you will be responsible for managing our merchandising and advertising operations across Dr. Squatch’s marketplace operations (e.g. Amazon, Walmart, Target). This role will be responsible for managing our advertising software and agency partners to achieve our revenue and ad spend goals. In addition, this role will be responsible for handling our merchandising on Amazon, such as price updates and new SKU creation.
This role requires a team player that thrives in a fast-paced environment and is adaptable to change. A successful Associate in this role will keep the big picture context in mind while managing the detailed day-to-day of Squatch’s marketplace channels, and will proactively share and request needed information and context cross-functionally.
This role is ideal for a smart, scrappy, motivated individual who enjoys a blend of strategic and tactical work. It will involve both identifying opportunities to use data to improve the business (strategic) and implement the processes and solutions needed to operate and scale the business (tactical).
This role will report to the Director of Growth Channels.
This is a full-time, hybrid role with company benefits based out of Squatch HQ in Marina del Rey, CA. Preference will be given to candidates from Los Angeles area.
The anticipated base compensation for this role will be $80,000 to $90,000. Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate’s experience and local market rates.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with our advertising managed service partners to bring Marketplace advertising management in-house at Dr. Squatch
- Own advertising management of Marketplace channels, primarily Amazon.com, as well as Walmart.com and other channels, in the US and other regions, to ensure we achieve our revenue and advertising spend goals
- Control merchandising operations across channels, such as new SKU creation and rationalization, promotions, and price updates
- Analyze marketplace advertising and merchandising data and provide recommendations to the Director of Growth Channels regarding opportunities to optimize our marketing and merchandising
- Prioritize tasks and ensure timely delivery
- Work with internal stakeholders in the Growth, Creative, and Marketing, and manage external agency partners to ensure we achieve our aims
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1 – 2 years of experience managing Amazon or Google paid advertising
- Strong preference for candidates with Amazon merchandising experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Interest in health and wellness, personal care, and/or eCommerce industries
- Experience working in the consumer products industry is highly preferred
- Someone who gets things done without perfect resources is innovative and works with a sense of urgency
- Someone who has high standards takes ownership and is invested in the outcome
- Someone who proactively helps others stays positive and has a good sense of humor
