While hair is our biggest SheaMoisture category, there is still significant potential to turbocharge the skincare (face and body) categories and better serve the needs of our consumer. The Associate Brand Manager Skincare Innovation will play a key role in defining our strategy and innovation roadmap to win and lead innovation projects across both the face and body skincare categories.
Who You Are & What You’ll Do
The Associate Brand Manager, SheaMoisture Skincare Innovation will need to bring dynamic attitude and passion to:
- Help develop the Innovation roadmap;
- Craft the innovation mix across all 6P marketing elements;
- Define SheaMoisture Skincare Innovation Strategic Pillars & White Spaces
- Have an innate, genuine passion for beauty, an awareness of beauty brands beyond skin care, and keep up with trends
- Partner with Performance & Engagement teams to serve our core shopper and our customers
Specifically, Associate Brand Manager, Innovation Will
- Work closely with Consumer Market Insights and their People Data Center to identify core consumer insights and product benefits.
- Serve as project lead for the SheaMoisture Skincare innovation roadmap for both face and body care
- Daily Project lead for innovation projects, managing cross-functional innovation team to deliver projects on time which includes the following brand-led tasks:
- Leading the innovation gatekeeping process and document inputs
- Locking mix – formulation and pack
- Delivering artwork toolbox – working with agency to deliver 2D designs
- Drafting and locking master text – partnering with legal and claims
- Delivering eCommerce channel assets on time
- Working with the creative agency to deliver the key visual on time
- Delivering innovation sales samples on time working with external agency
- Create presentations for various audiences impacted by the innovation (customers, leadership, external agencies, etc).
What You’ll Need To Succeed
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3+ years in Marketing, with some experience in Innovation Crafting.
- A well-informed Beauty “gut” coupled with an eye for aesthetic, design and attention for details.
- Strong brand crafting skills inclusive of unwavering desire to understand and uncover sticky consumer insights to inform and curate a mix that solves the top unmet needs for the PolyCultural consumer
- A Passion for Consumers and Shopper Understanding.
- A balance of art & science – ability to think creatively & strategically, with strong business mindset.
- A Problem Solving mindset and willingness to challenge the established norms.
- Comfortable with using data throughout aspects of the role, turning consumer and social insights into strategic thinking.
- Passion for big iconic brands and desire to leave a mark.
- Positive attitude, flexible, open-minded, curious
Pay: The pay range for this position is $83,200 to $124,700. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.
Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
Long-Term Incentive (LTI): This position is LTI eligible.
