Sony Electronics Inc.’s Image and Professional Solutions Americas group has an exciting position in the B2B Marketing group. We’re looking for a highly organized and motivated marketer to join our team. The Marketing Specialist will work within the Marketing team in the development and implementation of various marketing programs and activities for Professional AV products, marketed to B2B customers. The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for coordinating events, webinars and assisting in the creation and implementation of various marketing programs and communications. The position will also be responsible for market research, organizing internal sales support documents and collateral, proof-reading, and execute other special projects as required. The specialist should be adept at working independently, then consulting with managers and collaborating with cross-functional team members to ensure success. The Marketing Specialist will be required to travel approximately 30% of the time to tradeshows, events, and other Sony locations. This is a hybrid role with 3 days a week in office requirement.

Responsibilities:

Assist in execution of marketing plans to reach audiences through targeted channels
Assist marketing manager in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, event planning, and sales support
Create and distribute monthly reports on critical metrics for lead generation, content creation, website traffic, and other KPIs
Coordinate and manage workflows and deliverables effectively and on deadline
Liaise with internal and external teams for planning and executing of marketing activities

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree is required or equivalent, preferably concentrating in Marketing
2-4 years related B2B marketing, event coordination, market research experience
Ideal candidate should possess adaptability, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset
Experience planning and executing webinars is required
Professional writing, editing, and proofreading skills are required
Must possess strong written and oral communication skills and have strong interpersonal skills
Must be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and be detail-oriented
Must possess strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Must be willing and able to travel 30% of the time

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience preparing, analyzing, and reporting on market and sales data is preferred
Knowledge or background in CRM, marketing automation, and project management tools is beneficial

The anticipated base pay range for this position is $76,000 to $101,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.

In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for a bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package including healthcare benefits (medical, dental, and vision), paid medical leave after three months of employment, a 401k plan with matching company contributions, vacation time, education assistance, student loan assistance program, eighty hours of paid sick leave time annually, and up to twelve weeks paid parental leave after six months of employment.
