Job Summary

Reporting to the Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing the execution of seasonal product launches across all categories within the Americas region. Based in the North America headquarters of this multinational company and working with the market leading brand Remington, this is an exciting and challenging role for someone with proven product marketing experience.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Responsible for managing the Remington product launches in the Americas Region (NA, LATAM & Canada) across all Personal Care categories. Working alongside the Global Product Leads to develop Roadmaps and NPD that drive our Brand vision forward, put consumers at the heart of our Product Development and meet the requirements of all global markets. Collaborating with the regional leads to obtain insight, needs and alignment and feeding that into the global projects and global planning.

Responsible for the new product development and launch across Americas. Specific duties include:

Driving the Americas execution of the Global Projects in relation to the Product Launch and NPD timeline.
Lead projects through the Spectrum Brands product development process, being the voice for Americas, ensuring time, cost and quality targets are met.
Working with Research & Insights Team to identify trends, gaps and opportunities to differentiate our products in the market and meet our target consumer needs.
Analysing the market and competitive set to identify gaps and opportunities in the marketplace and drive competitive leadership of the Remington Brand.
Gaining full understanding of market requirements and local variations between different regions to assist with the development of new products.
Work together with global project management and engineering teams to ensure launches are delivered on time, on cost and fulfil the requirements of market.
Work with Global leads and legal to ensure positioning, naming and claims are relevant for the regional requirement.
Responsible for briefing product dimensions to the Brand Marketing team to kick off the packaging and assets production process.
Working together with brand marketing team to help develop and deliver best in class marketing assets inclusive of packaging.
Presenting new launches to Global & Regional Sales and Marketing teams.

Education and Experience Profile

Relevant Marketing/Business qualification
Relevant product marketing experience at product manager level
Experience within relevant industry sector
Experience working with multiple markets or on a global level
Experience of working within a central team structure
Experience of working with China
Additional language skills not essential but welcome

Required Skills

Excellent Organisational, project management & planning skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work autonomously and proactviely
Excellent presentation and communication skills and proficiency in Powerpoint
Flexible, customer focused attitude and a good team player
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable with analysing and working with complex commercial data (sales data, prices, margins etc.)

Work Environment

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Three days in office (Tues – Thurs) and flex Monday and Friday.
