LHH is working with their client looking to add a talented Insights and Analytics Manager to their team. In this role, you will oversee consumer and market research, assess market trends, and analyze brand KPIs and customer insights to determine actionable insights as well as optimize marketing strategies and category opportunities. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of professional marketing experience with an emphasis on brand management and customer insights/analytics. Responsibilities:

  • Steward consumer and market insights to enhance overall marketing effectiveness and brand positioning including recommending go to market brand strategy based on market research.
  • Completes marketing analysis on brand initiatives, promotions, category objectives, and market gaps.
  • Partner with the Director on annual and semiannual brand research reports, consult, gather, and collaborate with vendor partners and internal stakeholders to produce informative, actionable consumer, brand, and business strategies.
  • Manages the customer experience analytics platform and using that platform compiles data and insights concerning the company’s customer base and industry.
  • Generates reporting and visualizations to present internally to stakeholders on the brand’s satisfaction score and other key drivers for the organization.
  • Review, and analyze market data to define future opportunities and make appropriate adjustments to existing plans that address market trends, consumer, and competitive landscape.
  • Uses customer insights and actionable insights to generate creative briefs that support internal teams cross-functionally such as Creative, Brand, etc. to ensure research backs up all corporate marketing objectives.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing or similar field-M.B.A. preferred.
  • 5+ years of professional brand, field or general marketing experience-background in retail, hospitality, food & beverage preferred.
  • Ability to analytically evaluate sales performance data (mix, COGS, pricing), marketing effectiveness (ROI), and competitive trends.
  • Excellent communication skills-written and verbal.
  • Strong collaboration and project management skills-ability to work cross-functionally within the organization.
  • Well versed with programs such as Microsoft Excel, Power BI, Domo, SMG, etc.
