The Marketing Analyst will be a key member of the Customer Insights and Analytics team within LL Flooring’s Marketing Org. The role will support marketing leaders in analyzing marketing activities and communications, including determining the overall effectiveness of these tactics to drive engagement and business success. As an individual with strong analytical and story-telling skills, you will be a key contributor helping to convey marketing’s impact and influence in driving business results. You will be responsible for analyzing across a comprehensive suite of marketing tactics utilizing data from multiple sources specifically: improve customer acquisition and retention, market effectively and efficiently and deliver optimum customer experience. The ideal candidate will thrive in an environment with a high degree of individual responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and maintenance of an integrated marketing measurement framework (tools, processes, people, partners), and making sure that the information is available in a timely manner and accurate.
  • Analyze and synthesize data to answer questions, provide clear analyses and actionable insights.
  • Leverage Marketing Mix Model (MMM) and Multi Touch Attribution (MTA) to measure effectiveness of marketing spend and recommend shifts to optimize.
  • Prepare insights and data-based recommendations to grow business, increase effectiveness and improve ROI of digital and traditional media.
  • Work closely with external partners—traditional media agency, digital media agency, data management platform provider(s), analytics partners
  • Maintain constant awareness of deliverables; focus on short-term and long-term milestones.
  • Lead efforts to provision data for and maintain dashboards in platforms such as Tableau and Google Data Studio

Qualifications:

  • BA / BS in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related areas from accredited four-year college or university, required.
  • 2-5 years of marketing analytics experience and/ or digital analytics experience
  • Experience in SQL and analytical packages (R, Python) a plus
  • Working knowledge of Marketing Mix Model (MMM) and Multi Touch Attribution (MTA)
  • Data visualization and dashboard experience (ex. Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience leveraging web analytics packages such as Adobe/Omniture or Google Analytics
  • Analytic thinker, tactical reporting, and measurement implementer
  • Strong coalition-builder and interpersonal communicator
