Role:

The B2B Marketing Assisant is responsible for helping in the new client pipeline and the smooth onboarding of new clients by assisting marketing and sales with outreach and development of marketing and sales collateral. The role will give you insight into growing relationships from prospects to loyal customers. This role will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reporting. The B2B Marketing Intern will need to be able to work cross functionally with different teams within Alchemy Worx and be able to adapt to help those teams throughout the onboarding process.

The role requires the ability to quickly identify prospect and client pain-points and be able to work with others on finding solutions, while turning those learnings into collateral that can be used to tighten the sales cycle and gain more prospects. Within the role there will be the need for analytical skills to create reports as needed.

We are looking for a tech savvy person who is ambitious and an aggressive self-starter. The ideal candidate should have the ability to manage data analytics, run reports, and excel in a client-facing role. The successful candidate will manage the satisfaction of early-onboarding client accounts, help the business development lead in bringing in new accounts, and create marketing materials to support lead generation.

This is a hybrid role, with 3 days a week in our Flatiron office.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform data analyses of prospects’ current email and SMS programs
  • Assist in the development of the lead pipeline, including prospecting emails, marketing collateral, and social media marketing.
  • Perform data analyses of email marketing and SMS data to extract actionable insights to help drive customer and internal decisions
  • Identify pain-points for new clients and work with the account team to strategize solutions
  • Communicate data-driven insights and recommendations to client and for internal use
  • Develop thorough understanding of email user data flow and recommend best practices to streamline data flow, processes, and related standards
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams of account managers, designers, client service managers, and others across the company who are passionate about the company’s success
  • Develop and maintain internal and external controls to store and retrieve client data, reports, marketing material, and other data
  • Work with the Marketing Strategist to create the best marketing program for new clients
  • Assist with quarterly and annual business reviews
  • Critique advertisers on their CRM processes to enhance overall program efficiencies
  • Oversee project quality control and navigating client approvals throughout the project

Requirements:

  • NYC Based
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analytics and reporting tools for all channels
  • Candidate must demonstrate ability to thrive in a semi-structured environment
  • Should demonstrate a passion for marketing and technology
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills (oral and written)
  • Strong work ethic, skilled at prioritizing and managing time; Comfortable with tight deadlines; organized, efficient, detail-oriented and able to multitask
  • Must be an excellent team player; possess the ability to work well independently, think creatively, solve problems, and take initiative
  • Professional demeanor and ability to foster client relationships and earn role as a trusted advisor
  • Strong problem solving skills and ability to easily adapt to change

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 1+ years of email Marketing or 1+ years of Online retail marketing experience
  • Process improvement experience; Management and communication with globally dispersed teams
  • Knowledge of Email Service Provider Platforms or email campaign building
  • Project Management Experience
